Welcome and thanks for coming to our site. We hope that you will find it interesting and useful. This site has been our "laboratory" with online tools, techniques and strategies for teaching reading and writing online. To get to know us better, please take a look at our biographies. We've also included a posting of our favorite online tools for reading, vocabulary, writing, and assessment. Each of us completed a final online lesson plan around a specific teaching context that incorporates various online reading and writing tools. Our final projects focused on one thing: Communicative Competence - the need for students to express meanings that are important to them and their lives. We understand that language is not something one learns but something one does.
